Knitting Circle February 4th

Hope everyone is having a good new year so far.  I have gotten myself hooked on crochet!  I am at the glorious stage of , "go, go, go oops rip, rip, rip"!  But I know those even edges are just a few swatches away.

Bring the project you are working on currently and bring a fiber arts project you would like to show the group if you would like.

We will be having a mini clinic on methods of casting on.  Lu, a coworker at Bookworks, came in wearing a great looking vest she had just completed knitting and we got to talking about how she cast on the 100 stitches needed and I knew then I had lots to learn. A group member has volunteered to lead the mini clinic.

I hope you can join us for knitting, crocheting, refreshments, conversation and a look at a couple of knitting books, fiction and nonfiction!  Thanks to a gift to the group the drawing this month will be for some lovely, off-white yarn.
