Beside himself, Tom Grimes accepts and enters into a literary and academic world beyond his dreams. The Mentor leads the reader through two biographies illuminating the friendship between these two men. Insightful and quirky, the book unfolds beautifully and keeps you on your toes. After reading this book, I sought out more classics, and am eternally thankful for it.
