I started bookselling in 1996 in Ogden, UT for B. Dalton Booksellers, where I quickly fell in love with the bookstore environment. I made my way up to Store manager and moved to San Francisco and managed the store at The Embarcadero and Kearny & Sutter. I miss the city life - but Albuquerque and it's serenity was calling on us to come home. Best decision ever.

This is definitely my pick for the perfect gift for the holidates. Our pets keep us grounded and "in the now." Patrick McDonnell's artwork combined with words by Eckhart Tolle make for a lovely picture book - great for family friends and those of us that need to slow down and enjoy the here and now.
